I don’t know were else to put this. I have been Obsessed with Computers since I was 3 Thanks to Aspergers Syndrome, and since I was 11 all I ever wanted to do was be a Hardware Engineer. I am currently Studying Maths again as I currently couldn’t get an E in GCSE Maths. I already Know Im going to need As Level Maths and probably a Degree in Maths, but what Qualifications Will I need to be a Hardware Engineer.
Will Microsoft be able to offer any support with University funding or placement. As for work I never wanted a job with anything other computers or any other place then Microsoft.

I will do anything that is necessary, from building a cluster server to writing a 100,000 word thesis on the subject if it will help get me In.

But isn’t that the problem with EVERY exam? They never really test any real-life knowledge. It’s just theoretical knowledge and best practices they think are valid, not what has proven to be good

Well … it doesn’t suck completely … I don’t have that much experience with SCCM 2012 so it’s fair that I did not pass the exam.

As the results are out now and every one is waiting for point.
Here is a mail i got from Prometric about that.
I got this mail 2 days b4, i was waiting for everyone to have their results declared.

Also as far as the
result of your exam is concerned ,we are in receipt of your request. Please be
informed that your score report for Microsoft Exam 071-243 taken by you against
the confirmation number XXXXXXXXXX, will be emailed to you within 5 working days
from now. Incase you do not receive the same within the aforementioned time
frame; please send us another request for the same.

We hope this information is helpful. Please feel free
to contact us if further assistance is needed.

Results in for me as well and I’m happy I passed but I don’t feel the test was blueprinted well for the knowledge one really requires to design, deploy, and maintain. Hopefully they’ve adjusted that since beta.
Thanks again Helmer for providing updates and a forum for this fiasco.

Doesn’t matter…I heard my score via MS Learning about two weeks ago….but I hoped they were wrong since the rescoring at Prometric took such a long time. Going to reschedule it…after my vacation…

I got an email from Prometric overnight:

Dear Candidate,Thank you contacting Prometric.Please be advised that we have escalated your details to our Reconciliation department, in order to update the exam result on our database. We will keep you informed on the status as soon as we receive a response.For your reference, incident number MT# ####### refers to this issue.
We appreciate your patience.

After writing a not too nice mail to Prometric, I got the following response, whatever that means…
Dear Candidate,

Thank you for your email. We apologize for
any inconvenience this may have caused.

Please be advised that we have sent your details onto our
Reconciliation department in the US, in order to resend the exam result to the
client.

As soon as we receive confirmation that this has been done, we
will inform you. For your reference, incident number refers to
this issue.Once the status of your exam will be updated ,we would be able to
provide you the score report of your exam.

Should you have further queries then please contact us again.

We hope this information is helpful.

I got an answer from Microsoft:

Hi Roel,

Prometric is responsible for
communicating the beta results to candidates; we will work with their team to
be sure their customer support provides the correct communication in these
matters. We are in constant communication with Prometric over this issue
because we realize that this this is causing some serious angst (anger) among
our candidates. Yesterday, Prometric indicated that results were starting to
filter through their system, and they anticipated that the rescore process
would be complete by Thursday afternoon. We have requested another follow up
this morning to be sure they are still on target to meet this date, and we’ve
asked our planner to communicate what’s happening with those who are impacted
by this.

I understand your frustration
as I am feeling much the same way. I appreciate your patience and your
perseverance in letting me know that this still isn’t resolved.

Yeaah….I can fix a failure fast…hehe….why can’t Prometric does this hahahahahaha
