I installed the beta version earlier this week, but just today Microsoft has made the final version available to the general public : Windows Live Essentials 2011 is available. I’m not going to discuss the new features with you, there are enough website who will do that….like the one were I found out that Essentials 2011 went live, Liveside.net
When I tried to visit the Dutch page (stupid me, my IE language settings were set to Dutch) the 2011 version wasn’t available yet. One of my friends went to http://download.live.com (on my advise) and installed Live Essentials, when he rebooted his machine (he is not a real IT guy) he still had installed the current version….
